Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Not quite Paleo, but delicious none the less! Here is a healthy and easy to make dessert to help you fight those crazings that seem to pop up after dinner!


2 super ripe avocados
4 oz 70% Dark Baking Chocolate
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp agave nectar
Splash of almond milk
1 tsp instant espresso (optional, but highly recommended)


In a mixing bowl, whisk avocados until completely smooth.

In a separate bowl, add dark baking chocolate, coconut oil, agave nectar, and almond milk. Place in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave, add instant espresso, and stir until ingredients are mixed.

Combine melted ingredients with avocados and whisk until combined.

Split the mousse in two bowls and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour before eating.
