When was the last time you took 30-minutes to improve your lifts?
When you did what was your focus?
Was it to work on hip extension? Keeping the bar close? Not pulling early? How about your setup position?
As coaches, when we see a client “working on their lifts” during open gym we generally see them trying and often failing to build to a certain weight or hit a PR.
While there is certainly a time and a place for establishing new PR’s the bulk of our time needs to be centered around tweaking our technique and becoming consistent with that change.
The benefit of taking 30-minutes to work 1-on-1 with a coach is that we can triage your lifts, identify the fault that is holding you back the most and take 30-minutes to correct it.
This is why we chose to center the 2019 barbell course around private training. Everyone is going to have different faults and everyone is going to need different drills to improve their lifts.
How much private training do you need? Contact a coach to walk you through your ideal scenario.
